Chapter Quartets - Double Duty
The name "Double Duty" was selected because the quartet not only sings barbershop music but also does quite a bit of gospel singing in churches, especially in the summer when many church choirs are on vacation. However the gospel songs are all arranged in barbershop style.

Clare is a retired Orthodontist. Barbershop has been a major part of his life since a fellow Dentist talked him into going to a meeting in 1948. Quartetting is his favorite pastime, but has been a member of the Suncoast Chorus since joining in January 1949. Clare sang Lead/Tenor (depending on the song) with the Dentalodians, Lead with the Ringmasters, and Tenor with the Toffennetti Four before switching to Baritone, his favorite harmony part.
